Do your adductors always feel tight, and you never feel relief despite stretching them? Join me as I take a deep dive into potential contributing factors and solutions at the hips and pelvis to banish tight adductors for good.
The feeling of tight adductors can be due to:
1) Adductors being placed into a shortened position. This can be driven
by the pelvis and/or femur.
2) Adductors can feel tight when in reality, they’re overly lengthened. Again, this can be
driven by the pelvis and/or femur.
3) Other pelvic stabilizers like glutes and abs not showing up to share the load, causing
the adductors to overwork. Just like an overworked employee, this can result in some
short-circuiting in function by the adductor so nobody is doing their job efficiently 😅
Tight and dysfunctional adductors can affect your core, pelvic floor, hips, and knees.
