All these flavors (elves, dwarves, orcs, gargoyles, etc) to choose from, and you chose to be salty (humans)...

Whether it be fantasy or sci-fi (or a mix) in movies, series, anime, video games, tabletop rpgs, novels... there is often some degree of mistrust between factions. The weird part is that whatever makes evil factions what they are is things that humans have done in their history. How would you convince a non-human that you're trustworthy? Our track record says we aren't...
