Here is a workout challenge for you.
Complete the following:
1km run
75 x body row
100 x push ups
125 x squats
1km run
As quick as possible.
I did it and I have to say it was pretty tough.
Most importantly, I don't believe anymore that you need to punish yourself with workouts like this too often. Especially longevity and general health perspective, it doesn't make much sense. There needs to be a balance between high intensity training like this and recovery. In the past I haven't respected the balance and I have trained way too hard way too often. These days I do 1-2 tough workouts like this per week and rest of them are much easier. I mean I walk every day for an hour and that is super important to me mentally and physically.
Respect your boundaries too and remember to work your way up with workouts like this. Progress slowly to avoid injuries and actually to get fitter.
