We are completing the burn in for our new Rec Teq 700 pellet smoker. We used Pitboss pellets from Lowe’s. I set the controller to 400 degrees and it did a great job getting to that temperature quickly and holding it!! After 1 hour, I added some thick cut bacon in order to season the inside. I left it on for about an hour and a half at 225 degrees.
