#2 Keith Nichols’ Cotton Club Band with “Jazz Classics Revisited” at 2003 Keswick Jazz Festival : This is the excellent eight-piece band led by Keith Nichols on piano & vocals, featuring Enrico Tomasso (trumpet), Robert Fowler (reeds), Alistair Allen (trombone), Jim Ydstie (bass, tuba), Martin Wheatley (banjo, guitar) and Richard Pite (drums). The band excels in re-creating jazz classics from the first half of the Twentieth Century – jazz’s formative period. This will be their last appearance under this name - They are to be known as “Keith Nichols’ Little Devils” Notes by John Minnion - Festival Organiser.
