Asmaradana dance is a macapat song from Java which is then implemented into a dance. Asmaradana dance itself is a type of classical dance originating from the Yogyakarta Palace. The number of dancers is one or several girls. Dancers wear jamang, sumping, shoulder chelate, mekak, sampur and batik cloth.
Asmaradana dance has a concept that describes love, diversity among human beings, nations and the homeland which is manifested in the form of motion, dance properties, musical accompaniment and costumes.
