Gigi came in as a rescue from a breeding/hoarding situation. Her owner and I guess based on her behaviors and temperament that she must have lived in a cage her whole life up to that point (roughly a year or so). Poor Gigi was terrified of everything from her own shadow to loud noises. She suffered from crate anxiety that developed after she was rescued and her owner was struggling to get her to play with toys and just generally act like a "normal dog". Over the course of 3 weeks, I spent most of our time together building her confidence and helping her learn to move through her fear rather than shrink to the smallest size she could be. In the end, she went home a much more confident and comfortable dog with some great new tricks up her paws!
