Madison started wrestling as a freshman in High School. This followed PIAA sanctioning of Girls Wrestling as a High School sports in Pennsylvania. In her first year, she lost matches due to a combination of inexperience and physically stronger competition. Following that year, Madison committed to rigorous strength training in the gym. She regularly lifts at M.R. Stax in Lewistown, Pennsylvania where staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and where Madison is well-supported and encouraged by other members. The power lifts have always been a staple of her regiment as the body grows and is strengthened systemically via compound lifts. As a byproduct of her pursuit of wrestling, Madison has become suited to powerlifting competition. While her injury has briefly sidelined her from the sport she loves, she decided to do her first ever powerlifting competition and engaged in the Bob Bradshaw Memorial Push/Pull Meet at the gym she has trained in for the last year and a half!
