Big Home Upgrade 🏡 | Bathroom Shopping, Back-to-School 🎒 & Flavor-Packed Pilau 🍛

Today was a full and exciting day as we continue building our dream home in the African village 🏡. We started by buying bathroom and toilet accessories, carefully choosing items that will add comfort, functionality, and beauty to our home.

This is also Exterior Painting – Day 2 🎨, and the transformation outside is becoming more visible with each stroke. Seeing the house change from the outside brings us so much joy and motivation.

Inside the home, open-plan kitchen construction continues, along with progress on our outdoor storage area — both important spaces that will make daily life easier and more organized once the house is complete.

As part of family life, we also went back-to-school shopping for our kids 🎒, making sure they’re well prepared and excited for the new school term. These everyday moments are just as important as construction progress.

To end the day, we cooked the most delicious pilau and crispy fried chicken 🍗🍛, prepared the African way and shared together as a family — the perfect reward after a long, productive day.
