St. Thomas has two primary cruise ship docking areas:

Havensight Cruise Pier (also known as the West India Company Dock) – This is the main cruise terminal where most major lines dock; it’s right by Havensight Mall with shops, eateries, and amenities.

Austin Monsanto Marine Terminal (Crown Bay Cruise Center) – A second modern cruise terminal used by some bigger ships and additional calls.

Both are on the south side of the island near Charlotte Amalie, the capital.

There are also ports/harbors in the area used for various marine activities:

Cruise Port of Charlotte / Cruise Port – generic listings often referring to the same port complex areas.

West Indian Company Dock — another listing name for the Havensight docking area.

Saint Thomas Harbor — the overall harbor area where these terminals sit.

Proximity to Charlotte Amalie: Havensight is about a 5–10 minute taxi ride from downtown, and Crown Bay is a short taxi or ride away too.

On-site amenities: At Havensight, you’ll find shops, duty-free boutiques, eateries, and tour desks within walking distance of where you disembark.

Taxis & transport: Taxis are plentiful at both terminals; you can use them to reach beaches, downtown, or excursions.

Tendering: On very busy days, cruise ships may anchor offshore and tender passengers ashore, but this is uncommon.
