Welcome to my Namibia series!
Today I am leaving the capital city of Windhoek and driving to the oldest desert in the WORLD! I am going to be exploring some of the wildest landscapes in the country - Deadvlei, Sossusvlei, Sesriem Canyon and much more!
In this video I want to show you the incredible landscapes of the Namib desert and it's beautiful orange sand. I'll share all the tips to help you plan a visit to Sossusvlei as it is tricky to get to due to a very sandy road for the last two miles.
We'll explore both the sunset and sunrise and walk among petrified trees that have been around here for hundreds of years and climb to the top of the tallest dune! I hope you're excited to join me on this adventure because this is such a beautiful country and it is my first day out in beautiful Namibian nature!
