The first passage:
That night Shankar had dreamt a dream. He had been indulged in resting under aBaobao tree in a vast wilderness surrounded by long grasses. This is his longcherished Africa, his dream. He had dreamt of Africa in his sleep for many a day. Today thousands of miles away from his own land, standing in the farthest place of Africa, he visualised them all as dreams.
