What started as a plan to visit Gorkha took a surprising turn! We had hoped to squeeze in a paragliding session at Rainaskot, but due to bad road conditions, Gaurab, Omit, and I changed our route—and ended up in the peaceful and scenic Riepe Village in Tanahun, Nepal.
Riepe Village is a hidden gem perched at around 1,500 meters, offering stunning views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. Surrounded by forests and terraced hills, the village is known for its tranquil atmosphere, traditional nepali culture, and unspoiled natural beauty. With only a few visitors making their way here, it's the perfect destination for those seeking quiet, authenticity, and connection with local life.
This unplanned detour ended up being one of the most rewarding parts of our journey.
