For the past six weeks, I’ve been working on one of my most symbolic Vanitas paintings yet.

Inspired by the old Dutch masters, this piece combines traditional Vanitas symbolism with my own modern storytelling.
Every element carries meaning: the extinguished candle, the fallen glass, the clock, the moth, the raven… all painted layer by layer with dramatic lighting and quiet tension.
