We tried KOREAN Street Food! 🇰🇷

For Ty's Birthday we celebrated by eating at a local Street Market in SOUTH KOREA!!🇰🇷 Korea is our 16th country we have visited, and it was one of the most meaningful trips we’ve ever taken. The Korean food blew us away. There are unlimited options and you truly can’t order wrong. We tried so many restaurants and found the best Night Markets! From convenience store runs to a traditional Korean barbecue (where we had no idea what we were doing at first) the food was incredible. Korean food might just be our all-time favorite food!

On Ty’s birthday, we kept things fun with an awesome burger spot, explored the streets of Seoul, went shopping, found a really cool @jordan store, tried endless street food, and ended the night at Gwangjang Market where we had one of the best food experiences ever.

This trip was also really personal for us. Ty’s uncle served his mission in Korea, met his wife there, and loved the culture deeply. He passed away last December, so being here felt extra special, helping us feel connected to him and his legacy.

We also had the chance to put on traditional Hanbok clothing and walk around Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was such a beautiful way to connect to Korean culture. And one of the most meaningful moments was going to church right next to the Seoul Korea Temple, which marked the 29th temple on our World Temple Tour. We’re so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and that because of Him families can be together forever. We stayed at the amazing Weave Suites Sunyu Parkside, which had a golf simulator, a great gym, and such a nice vibe that we already want to go back.
