It's tempting to want to feel safe with a lot of con in your build, but Musket shines the most when you go glass, learn your burst windows, and practice good positioning to shred your opponents. The META setup is 300/150/50 with Medium Armor, but Light still works and 300/200 is viable for the bravest among you. With Crippling Powder Burn, Empowering Shooter's Stance, and an Enchanted + Keenly Empowered Musket (Infamy is a great choice too), you can hit the 50% Empower cap during your burst windows and absolutely destroy people before they realize how much danger they are in. These geared out healers never expect to die in only a few musket shots and rarely react in time to save themselves.
Don't forget your Health amulet and the Hale & Hearty town buff to bring your health total up.
