Join us in this video for a hike in the Derbyshire Dales where we take in the wonderful Neolithic stone circle at Arbor Low.
Our route starts from the hamlet of Heathcote, but could easily be adapted to start from Hartington or the disused railways stations of either Hartington or Parsley Hey (where there is pay & display parking). Wherever you start the walk, the stone circle and nearby Gib Hill burial mound are well worth a visit! Remember to bring a £1 coin for each adult visiting the circle, as there is a charge to access the land (children were free).
** In the video I twice refer to a lane called Long Lane, on checking the map again, it is actually marked as Green Lane.
