Unless you are in the tropics, you likely need to protect those tropical patio beauties. The Red Abyssinian is one of those beauties. In this video I share my last step in overwintering your Ensete ventricosum ‘Maurelii’. Potting it back up on the patio for another year of glory! I will likely continue using my step 2, waking it up, but seeing how quick it grew, I may wait longer or just go straight to potting it up properly when the temperatures are warm enough.
