“I Thought a Tree Dying,” by Sandra Doller, was recently featured as the Poetry Foundation's “Poem of Day” - and the minute we heard it, we knew we wanted to make it into a short film! In this poem, Doller meditates beautifully on life spans, the relativity of time in relation to our lives (and other forms of life!), the role of motherhood, and life's big questions and answers.
