I decided to put Decluttr's "We pay more" claim to the test by selling them a pristine iPhone 14 and buying several refurbished devices from their store. What followed was a series of disappointing discoveries including downgraded trade-in values, mustard-scented controllers, broken cameras, and batteries well below their promised 80% health. Despite the tech disasters, their DVD and CD offerings seem to be the one redeeming quality of this massively overpriced refurbished tech retailer.
