Well THAT was complertely unexpected! Irish girl reacts to The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” for the very first time—and I finally understand the hype. That opening synth? Instantly iconic. The build-up? Pure tension and release. And when the vocals hit… chills.

Lines like “I don't need to fight to prove I'm right” and “I don't need to be forgiven” give the song such an attitude—like they knew exactly who they were and didn’t care what anyone thought. I wasn’t expecting something so hypnotic, gritty, and strangely moving.

I had no idea “Teenage wasteland” came from this song, and now I feel like the internet makes more sense.

It’s messy, epic, and completely captivating. This is a band doing whatever they want—and pulling it off.
