Dobinsons Suspension Factory Tour in Australia by Exit Offroad

Dobinsons Spring & Suspension has been in business in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia since 1953, making leaf springs first then coil springs. Today, the factory is running stronger than ever producing more options for the 4x4 market than pretty much any other brand. Mike here from Exit Offroad just traveled to Rocky to check out the factory and do some training on products and their development. This rough walk through was done in between shifts where possible, so we aren't able to show every single step as not everything was operating at the same time.

Shock R&D is done on site, but manufacturing of them is done elsewhere, so that can't be shown here. We'll be posting another video soon on how Dobinsons IMS and Dobinsons MRA struts and shocks are put together, what goes into them, and some tips and tricks for rebuilding them.
