Richard Mille, the man and later on the brand, initially worked for a local watchmaking company in France. Year's later he partnered with his friends to launch the now iconic company. 2001 marked the year Richard Mille was built with the uncompromising spirit of innovation in technology and extreme design. The first ever model showed little regard for production costs as the RM001 contains a large amount of titanium, custom design architecture and a tourbillon. The next notable model in the RM collection is the RM003 that features a GMT complication and marks the year richard mille participated in the 1st Le Mans Classic race. Next Felipe Massa became Richard Mille's first partner with the RM008 ultralight tourbillon with a split mechanism. There are many more models in the now iconic line of RM but these 3 watches helped usher in the RM 011 Lemans Edition. Like the RMs before its, the whole watch is bursting at the seams with titanium and ultra durable ceramics. Speaking of Seams, the dimensions are 40mms horizontally, and 50mm vertically. Intimidating measurements, yes. We’re talking about Richard Mille here. From the side we can behold the towering thickness of 16.15mms that manages a meager 50ms of water resistance. That’s acceptable because whose going to swim with their RM, right?
