BOND Incredible Sweater Machine (ISM) Instructional Video

This was the official instructional video that came with my BOND Incredible Sweater Machine, which I have had from new, the machine is from the early to late 90s, mine being from 1993.

The video is instructed by Sue Smith, BOND's education director and head of sales at the time, the video is not narrated by Sue but the narrator has a lovely relaxing voice, she is very posh!

Due to the age of the machine, the video supplied with these models was on VHS, the popular and widely used format at the time, however, you probably do not have a VCR anymore (lucky for you I do! HA!) and if you buy one of these machines in the used market and you want to know what's on the tape, this is the video, it will help get you started, especially if you are new to the BOND and or machine knitting.

This machine was made by the original British company BOND Knitting Systems Ltd in Oxford United Kingdom and was the last machine BOND produced, it was basically a Classic, which the ISM replaced but the ISM separated into two pieces for packing and came in the colourway red, grey and flint, rather than grey and flint, like the Classic.

Please note this video was converted from VHS to DVD, then to an MP4 file, so it could be uploaded to YouTube, it is old and from analogue media, so it isn't going to be HD.
Digitalised versions of VHS never look as good as the original tape because of varying frame rate and deinterlacing, but it is pretty close, there is also the odd crackle here and there but the tape is 32 years old, it probably wasn't the best quality originally anyway because after all, it was only a free video tape that came with the machine but I think it is still very watchable and I hope you find it useful.
