A Day With Charlie Brown

It’s SNOW DAY! All the kids come out to play. But like most days, Charlie Brown’s day starts lousy-he fails at flying his kite, he trips, and gets teased by Lucy. At school, baseball goes wrong again. He tries his best, fails anyway, and apologizes like always.

Then a new girl moves in next door. The little red-haired girl.

Charlie Brown is instantly crazy in love.

Unsure what to do, he asks Lucy for advice. She gives him loud, bossy, mostly terrible tips—and charges him a nickel. Snoopy tries to help with his imaginative story telling by sending the red baron to attack the bad luck. But Charlie Brown continues to stumble, fails at football and continues to get teased.

But one day, the red-haired girl notices his efforts.

She sees him trying hard and never giving up. She sees who he really is.

At the end of the day, she says hello and wants to be his friend.

Charlie Brown smiles—surprised and happy. The kids cheer, even Lucy despite herself. Everyone celebrates and dances. For once, Charlie Brown doesn’t win by succeeding—
he wins by being himself.
