The Haramain High-Speed Railway, also known as the "bullet train," connects Makkah and Madinah, two of Islam's holiest cities. This high-speed train service, the first of its kind in the Middle East, significantly reduces travel time between the two cities to around 2 hours and 30 minutes. The train, capable of reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h, provides a comfortable and convenient mode of transportation for pilgrims, residents, and tourists.
The railway spans 450 kilometers, linking Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah, Jeddah Airport, and King Abdullah Economic City.
