Join me for my longest and first-ever night ride on the 125, with a full 180-mile round trip to London on just a CBT licence. After doing my transfer day and trying out a Triumph Trident 660, I’m more excited than ever to progress to my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests — but for now, it’s back on the trusty 125 for a proper real-world challenge.
In this video, I take you along as I head into London for a meeting and ride home in complete darkness. From busy city filtering and dual carriageways to pitch-black country lanes, potholes, glare, and everything in between — this ride had it all. I also share the unexpected highlight of the trip: a brilliant moment of biker community at the historic Blackheath Tea Hut.
