Lecture 27: Quantum Computation with Trapped Neutral Atoms

Set-up for two-dimensional array of neutral atoms is described. Working of optical tweezers is explained. Quantum simulations load the traps in different geometries and perform measurement by fluorescence. Quantum logic operations use hyperfine energy levels as quantum states. Two-qubit operations are performed using intermediate Rydberg states in the Rydberg blockade region. Scheme for CZ and CCZ operations is explained.
