This public lecture at my alma mater, the Sierra Leone Law School, on Friday, January 26th, 2024, presented the practicalities of the triadic dispute resolution system that the traditional court systems epitomize. We asked and answered critical questions around the history and development of COURTS, their “independence” within the state structure, and their purpose in society; to open the budding lawyers’ MINDS on what to expect and how to approach JUDGING and its STRATEGIC ACTORS - the judges.
This lecture is part of a series on targeting the MINDS of young people to RE-INVENT Sierra Leone.
