This system is absolutely the most efficient method ever invented for bagging leaves (or bagging grass, for that matter), however TDE needs help finding a motivated and capable manufacturing partner to take the next steps. Patent protection runs through 2033 and TDE proposes a very manufacturer friendly, progress royalty arrangement. That is to say, a nil to very low percentage initially, only increasing as sales increase.

Two leaf bags that were stuffed full by hand are dumped and then re-bagged by Direct-Bag-It, resulting in one truly full bag.

Lots of companies claim material reduction (like 10:1 or something), but don't prove it. I think those 10:1 claims are semi-bogus, probably comparing gravity filled bags (still fluffy), which isn't a real world comparison. I can prove reduction. The two original bags were stuffed firmly by hand, but were still reduced to one by DBI.

Note that it takes me just about as long to dump and spread the leaves as it does for me to bag them back up using DBI...that is to say...they're picked up quickly. (time stamp in lower right)

Pick up efficiency is illustrated, as very little of the space needed an additional pass.

Overall efficiency is demonstrated: you can go longer per bag (saving time) and get more per bag (saving money)
