To the Commanders of Super Earth,

We dropped onto Marfark, still under Automaton control, on what might as well be the last miserable day of the year, with orders to destroy four Automaton Command Bunkers. I ran the AR-2 Coyote wearing the CW-22 Kodiak Heavy Armor, giving 50% resistance to explosive damage—which Marfark immediately tried to disprove. The Portable Hellbomb was available to all Helldivers, because Super Earth clearly wanted this one loud.

Blizzards and extreme cold crushed mobility and visibility while also messing with rate of fire and weapon heat buildup. Gunship Patrols filled the sky, and Orbital Fluctuations increased stratagem cooldowns by 25%, just to make sure nobody got comfortable. I brought the Eagle 500kg Bomb, A/MLS-4X Rocket Sentry, LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, and the LIFT-850 Jump Pack—the usual solution to frozen metal problems.

We lit up the sky like a farewell salute to the year, blasting bots across the snow and turning command bunkers into scrap. Even the blizzards couldn’t stop us from completing the mission and every side objective, though the clone factory definitely saw some action. Anything with red glowing eyes in that snowfall got deleted on sight—no hesitation.

Extraction was controlled chaos. A few Helldivers took extra clone trips, but we held the landing zone, boarded together, and lifted off alive—cold, battered, and ready to close the year the only way Helldivers know how.

Five stars earned. End of year. Same war.

Recorded on a dedicated PC using a capture card, played in 4K Ultra on an RTX 5090 and Intel i7-14700K, with MSI Afterburner monitoring hardware performance. We’re continuing to run the Beta Slim version, and all in-game settings are shown at the beginning of the video.
