They Had No Idea Anything Was Wrong With Me-My Dad Tells the Emotional Story of My Birth

In this deeply personal video, I sit down with my dad and relive the day I was born - a day that changed everything!! With no ultrasound technology, my parents and the Doctors, had no idea anything was wrong until the day I arrived. My Dad opens up about what it was like to hear "Multiple complications", and how he supported my mom through the heartbreak and the fear of the unknown. One Doctor gave them a very negative report and said "It would have been better if she didn't survive". Find out how they both had to dig deep emotionally and choose to raise me with much love, strength and a sense of normalcy despite all the unknows with my development. My dad shares how my mom blamed herself for my birth defects but choose to believe that God was still in control and I could still live a successful and full life like any other child!! Hear some of the obstacles they faced along the way but how they never let me use my disability as an excuse for anything!!

I'm Tina, welcome to my channel!! I have a Symes amputation and I was born missing my right foot and some of the fingers on my right hand. My whole life, I've had to overcome, adapt and embrace being unique!! I've always tried to never let my disability get in the way of anything I wanted to do. I love to laugh, be adventurous and have fun!! I hope you enjoy getting a sneak peak into my life and seeing what living with a disability really looks like. Just because I'm missing a foot doesn't mean I'm missing a sense of humor!!
