Merlin AU || Arthur Returns

Hey everybody!

So, I thought I wouldn't get one more video in before my trip, but I did! lol. I have been watching so many AWESOME Merlin AUs lately, and I got inspired to do a really quick one of Arthur's return. I would have loved to make it longer, but the song was only 2 mins long. =(

Plot:

It's been 3 or 4 years since Arthur's death, and life in Camelot is still trying to go on without him. Merlin has not returned to the Kingdom, and Guinevere, Gaius, and Sir Leon are trying to hold everything together. Sir Leon advises Gwen that it is time for her to remarry in order to secure more protection for herself and Camelot. She begins to allow suitors into the Kingdom, hence the visit of King Odin, and that King from 2x10 (the evil one, I can't remember his name lol). Meanwhile, Merlin witnesses Arthur's return from the lake of Avalon. Will they be able to make it back to Camelot in time? Will Gwen choose security, or hold on to hope?

Dialogue:

Leon: My Lady.

Gwen: No I can't.

Leon: You need to be prepared. Camelot and all the Kingdom will be vulnerable.

Merlin: Arthur.

Gwen: I should retire. Eat, please.

Gaius: Guinevere.

Gwen: Is there no hope, Gaius? None at all?

Gaius: There is always hope.

Merlin: Without you, Camelot is nothing.

Gwen: Where is it that I need to sign?

Gwen: There is always hope.

Arthur: Guinevere.

Gwen: Arthur. All these years I've waited for you.
