Kinkachoo, I love you, by Phillip Houghton played by me on my Simon Ambridge guitar. I was happy to buy this guitar from Rob Mackillop who had it directly from Simon Ambridge. Interested guitarists at YouTube will know Rob, who plays classical guitar without nails. He used this instrument with gut strings tuned lower that today's standard pitch. I play with nails and regular nylon strings but like a lower tuning on this guitar. I think it creates a very full, warm sound. Simon Ambridge built this guitar in 2014. It has a torrefied spruce top and cypress back and sides, and is in the style of Manuel Ramirez although not a copy of a specific instrument. It is extremely lightweight and very responsive.
