Cabin Fever | Late Winter Fly Fishing

Towards the end of winter and even into the early days of spring, cabin fever begins to set in for most fly anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. Even if the opportunity does arise to spend some time on the water, the fishing is never easy this time of year. In this video we use multiple winter time approaches to help increase stealth in this low and slow small stream. As luck would have it, we must have hit up this section of water at a good time! Plenty of action on nymphs brought multiple brown trout and rainbow trout to the net, and even a surprise native brook trout from the upper reaches of the watershed.
