Merwin Winter Kokanee Challenge

We head over to Merwin Reservoir to try our luck out on Kokanee. Wind was terrible, and water temps below ideal, but it’s good to test your abilities in adverse conditions. See if you can beat my score, it won’t be too difficult. We only caught a few, so if you want to try you have to fish Merwin January to February, four hours and post in comments or email me to tell me how you did.
I caught my first fish on a Deadly Venom gold dodger, on surface 200 feet back on a small yellow spin glow.
My second was caught on green arrow flasher with a yellow spin glow.
