We lived without electricity and power for a few days because of high winds that we rarely get! It was a good experience for us and we received a new gratefulness for all our modern conveniences!
Here is the recipe for my easy cobbler!
Easy batter fruit cobbler
1 stick butter melted in cake pan
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
4 cups fruit of any kind
1 tablespoon sugar
After butter is melted, pour batter over butter. Then sprinkle fruit on top. Sprinkle 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar on top of fruit. Bake one hour at 350°.
As it bakes the batter will rise to the top and cover all the fruit!
This is such a quick and easy dessert to make! And very good with whip cream or ice cream or cold milk! :-)
