Areen Talwalkar is a young Indian classical musician and tabla player from Mumbai. As of early 2026, he is actively performing as a solo artist and as part of prestigious classical ensembles. He comes from a distinguished family of musicians. He is the son of renowned tabla maestro Satyajit Talwalkar and the grandson of Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar, a legendary figure in Indian percussion. He is a disciple of his grandfather, Pt. Suresh Talwalkar, following the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara. Regularly performs tabla solo recitals at significant cultural events, such as the Pt D K Datar Shraddhanjali program. Has performed alongside other rising stars and established artists in festivals like the Mukula Festival in Pune and the Taalyogi Aashram sessions.
