Jess is a rugby coach from the Sunshine Coast whose first experiences in sport were far from inclusive. Instead of letting that push her away, she turned it into her motivation to make sport better for the next generation.
She now wears more hats than most people can count. She’s a club president, a coach, a player, and the founder of a free girls’ academy. She also runs programs for kids with a disability, creating opportunities for young people who might otherwise miss out.
Jess’s goal is simple. She wants everyone to feel like there’s a place for them in rugby, and she understands that each person needs something different in order to thrive.
What makes her story special is the way she shows what coaching can truly do. With the right support, people discover just how capable they are and Jess is committed to making that happen.
