Tried the Rabaconda Again on My Harley… Did It Actually Work This Time? (Part 1)

In this video, I take another crack at using the Rabaconda tire changer on my 2018 Harley-Davidson Heritage. If you saw my last attempt, you know I failed hard and ended up taking the tire to the dealer. But this time… I got it mounted!

Well, mostly. The tire’s on the rim, but I’m still struggling to get the bead fully seated — and I’m not totally sure if the tube is holding air overnight. So this is Part 1 of a two-part story.

Tomorrow, I’ll check if the tire kept pressure, see if the bead will finally seat in the sun, and figure out if this DIY was a win or just another expensive headache.

Even though I struggled, I still recommend the Rabaconda for most tires — especially if you’re not working with tubed cruiser tires or spoked wheels. It’s an incredible tool, just with some caveats when it comes to Harley-style setups.
