The Riel Deal | Marten Van Riel: Uncharted

Marten Van Riel has been searching for a world title his entire career.

Despite consistently competing at the highest level at short course triathlon, Marten was unable to land a world or Olympic title. However, his move to the 100k distance and the T100 Triathlon World Tour proved to be the making of the Belgian.

He won 3 of his 4 starts to become the first ever T100 World Champion and establishing himself as the best middle distance athlete in the world.

We joined him in training at the Sierra Nevada altitude camp mid-season as he prepared to go all-in for glory in 2024.

In this series, 'Uncharted' goes behind the scenes with the world's best triathletes in training as they prepare for the toughest, most competitive races in professional triathlon.
