This is a quick overview on how I straighten my blow pipes and puntys. The bends are not always the same yet this technique usually does the trick. Two very important aspects are having a flat surface to work with for measuring the bends and also having a good press. Presses are expensive but they’re very handy to have around the shop. Best of all, if you have a press, two pieces of Momax and some ingenuity, you can make a very nice murrine cutter too.
