Tales From Tyranus is the garrison’s web show. Our purpose is to highlight the interesting people and activities throughout the garrison.

Garrison Tyranus is part of the 501st Legion. The legion is an all-volunteer organization. We seek to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality, screen-accurate costumes. We use of these costumes for Star Wars related events. We contribute to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work.

Garrison Tyranus is the 501st unit that covers the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the latest census, we are the 7th largest garrision in the world; we have over 250 active members across the state.
