This kamisori edge wasn't in the best shape, I had to drop down to a shapton 2k and 5k with tape and left it there until it wore off. I reset the bevel on the softer iromono stone and convert the synthetic edge and remove scratches which needed 2 dilutions. I paused the video a few times to go back to my computer and check the edge, I needed 2 dilutions for the bevel reset and conversion. I finished on a very fine but not overly hard Nakayama kiita with some karusu. The process took about 25 min from start to finish including edge restoration. The idea is to refresh the razor often on fine Japanese natural stones before it gets too much damage, this will avoid removing too much precious steel.
