And now, the grand finale!
The final boss themes have always been a source of consternation for me. I expect them to have a climactic feel, and more often then not they simply don't. Vampified was the major exception.
Then they surprised everyone with this DLC, and this piece alone makes all my earlier disappointments worth it. Not only are the motifs strong and progression engaging, but it accomplishes the complex instrument accompaniments lacking from the Octavo boss. I absolutely love this track.
I'm not sure what to title this video; it's been a year, but if there's one twist in this game I wouldn't want to spoil for anyone . . .
