Sam Gordon and other girl football players from the Utah Girls Tackle Football were invited by the NFL to play a game during the halftime of the Pro Bowl to show the world that girls can play football. The girls had seven minutes in front of a crowd of 55,000 football fans. The girls scored touchdowns on long runs and passes, and reverses. The defenses made big hits and even got in some hair pulling.
The crowd went wild when the girls scored touchdowns and made tackles. The girls proved that there is a market for girls and women's football.
