Riding my motorcycle through the countryside at dusk.
It's a time of Hatsu-bon for many families, and small welcoming fires (Mukaebi) dot the roadsides.
In Japanese tradition, these fires are lit to guide the spirits of ancestors back home.
The sounds of insects from the rice paddies and the chirping of birds from the woods blend with the pleasant rumble of my GB400T.T.'s exhaust.
I rode on, feeling the breeze as the sun slowly set.

夏の夕暮れ、本宮山スカイラインからR301を通り豊田市へ
今日は初盆で、迎火を焚いている家がちらほら。
田んぼの向こうから聞こえる虫の声と、木々の中から響く鳥たちの鳴き声。
愛車 GB400T.T. の心地よい排気音とともに、ゆっくりと日が暮れていく中を走りました。
