This is a quick video that shows the restoration of the Ralph Martindale Sugarcane Machete.
This machete is widely available as the same design has been used by this and other manufacturers of this agricultural tool for many decades. In fact, the mechanization of sugarcane harvesting has had little impact on manufacturing this machete.
The video will go through the disassembly steps, and the sanding of the metal blade and beechwood handle, through the reassembly process.
