In this video I discuss the process of getting a PhD in my 40's, while working full time as a data scientist. I attended a distance program at Nova Southeastern University. I discuss my motivation for getting the degree, the general process, and its impact on my career. I also cover my continuing journey through academic publishing and becoming a vice president of data science for a large company.
