Man, what a great night out in the woods with a good friend of mine. We hiked into a beautiful little campsite, and right away it reminded me why I love doing this. There’s just something about being off the beaten path, surrounded by trees, that resets everything.
Dinner was a highlight—used my trusty Trangia 27 kit along with my Firemaple stove setup, and let me tell you, that combo never lets me down. I’ve been on a mission to dial in rice in the field, and while it’s still a bit of a challenge, I think I’m getting closer. There’s a fine line between fluffy and fire hazard out there.
And I’ve gotta give a shoutout to the Firemaple tent—it held up great, no surprises, and that porch mode? Man, that adds a whole new level of comfort to camp life. Just sitting there under the stars with some good food, a good friend, and that little porch setup… it doesn’t get much better than that. #firemaple #fire #camping #campcooking
